It’s important to realize that Hollywood celebrities don’t always have it easy. In fact, many of them have a difficult start and transcend all shortcomings to reach where they are today. Demi Moore gained immensely popularity in the 80’s after numerous teen themed flicks. However she did have a very troubled childhood. Her father, Charles Harmon abandoned her mother 2 months after the wedding. When she was born, she took her stepfathers name and was christened Demetria Gene Guynes.
As a child she had to change homes many time after being born in New Mexico. Her step father changed jobs numerous times, and as a result the family moved 40 times. Her parents were alcoholics and they often got into fights and beat each other. When Demi was a kid, she was cross eyed and did wear a patch for long in order o correct the condition. This was corrected with the help of 2 surgeries. Apart from this, she’s even had a kidney dysfunction. Demi Moore also has a unique condition wherein the natural color of her eyes varies with 1 being hazel, and the other green. They say it’s all about being at the right place at the right time, and with Demi it was something like that. She went to high school at Hollywood and had many popular future stars in school. Her actress friend Natassja Kinski prompted her to leave school and pursue a career as an actress.
She began her acting career in 1982 and came to the forefront with her role in the film Ghost. Hereafter she was offered more meaningful roles and went on to gain immense popularity. She married Freddie Moore in 1979. He was a songwriter and their marriage ended in 1985. 2 years after her first marriage ended, she married Bruce Willis when filming for Moonlighting. The couple separated in 1998 and was legally divorced in 2000. The couple has 3 daughters together. She is inclined to Kabbalah and has introduced her current husband, Ashton Kutcher to the faith. There has been ample speculation about their relationship considering that Ashton is 15 year younger. They began romancing in 2003 and married in 2005. Her estranged husband, Bruce Willis was present at the wedding as the 2 continue to be good friends.
Demi Moore has courted many controversies in life. Her 3rd marriage to a man 15 years younger wasn’t the first occasion when everyone was talking about her. In 1991 she was on the Vanity Fair cover for her popular nude cover. What made the picture memorable is that it was shot when she was 7 months pregnant with her daughter Scout. The following year she was on the Vanity Fair cover again. This time it was body painting depicting her body suit by artist Joanne Gair. She gave the body suit a whole new meaning looking as stunning as ever. Her pregnant cover started the trend of celebrity mothers getting on covers. Of late she hasn’t been acting much and is involved in multiple business ventures.
